Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Samvedna Development Society (SDS) is a leading non-profit organization working with Government Departments and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) to implement sustainable urban development initiatives. SDS actively supports flagship programmes such as Swachh Bharat Mission–Urban (SBM-U) through project management, capacity building, stakeholder coordination, and urban sanitation initiatives.

Position Overview

The Project Head/Manager – SBM-U will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0 . The role involves close coordination with Municipal Council (MC Pali) , Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation, compliance with SBM-U guidelines, and timely achievement of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities




- Lead and manage overall implementation of SBM-U project activities.
- Coordinate with Municipal Council (MC Pali) , ULB officials, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise project teams and ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and maintain reports, MIS, and project documentation.
- Support activities related to Swachh Survekshan , certification, and urban sanitation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SBM-U guidelines, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Identify implementation gaps and recommend corrective measures.
- Facilitate review meetings and provide regular project updates to management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning , or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in SBM-U, Solid Waste Management (SWM), Urban Governance , or similar Government projects.
