This role offers the chance to influence a growing Microsoft Fabric platform while partnering with teams across multiple regions, including close collaboration with stakeholders in the UK.

Your key responsibilities as a Principal Engineer will include:
- Audit and standardise existing Microsoft Fabric workspaces, ensuring alignment with approved architecture, governance standards, security requirements, and naming conventions.
- Build a model domain reference implementation, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, end-to-end data pipelines, semantic models, and reporting capabilities.
- Assess all existing Fabric workspaces, develop migration strategies, classify migration approaches, and deliver prioritised migration plans.
- Configure and govern OneLake Catalog capabilities, including metadata, endorsements, sensitivity labels, ownership information, and self-service discovery features.
