Key Responsibilities:
- Ground Reporting: Conduct on-the-spot field reporting on social issues, civic infrastructure, local governance, and trending stories.
- Public Interaction: Host public debates, street interviews (Chaupals), and engage with citizens to understand their grievances.
- Research & Scripting: Deep-dive into news stories, verify facts, and prepare compelling scripts/questions for reports and interviews.
- Interviews: Conduct sharp, unbiased, and impactful interviews with local authorities, public figures, and community leaders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the video editing and production teams to ensure high-quality and engaging final video outputs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in journalism, digital media, or field reporting.
(Freshers with exceptional camera confidence and communication skills may also apply).
- Language: Complete fluency in Hindi with clear pronunciation and robust vocabulary.
- Key Skills: High camera-friendliness, confidence, spontaneity, and the ability to think on your feet during live or spot reporting.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel for field assignments and work flexible hours based on news urgency.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of current affairs, social issues, and regional politics.
