A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Material engineer at MKS-Atotech, you will be a part of materials science department under Chemical and Physical Characterization (CPC) for equal innovation partner in R&D; as well as external customer samples for analysis and report generation. In this role, you will report to one of the Team Manager (Materials Science).
You Will Make an Impact By:
- You are primarily responsible for the independent execution, evaluation, and documentation of materials science investigation and handling instruments like FE-SEM, XRF, Optical microscopy, Hardness, Roughness measurement
- Prepare and archive reports, ensuring high-quality documentation that enhances customer satisfaction
- Maintain and further development of the established quality management systems (ISO 9001 and ISO 17025), including the creation of documents, reports, and policies (SOP)
- Consulting of other departments and customers
- Participation in internal and external projects
- Ensure the operational availability of the laboratory equipment and troubleshooting of instruments
- Performing tasks in compliance with HSE rules and adhering to 5S/4R guidelines
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of project and process information
- Strictly adhering to the MKS Atotech compliance policy
