Key Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and prepare test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, UI, regression, and cross-browser testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using project management tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve issues.
- Assist in maintaining test documentation and QA reports.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and project discussions.
- Learn QA best practices, testing methodologies, and software development processes.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of Software Testing and SDLC/STLC.
- Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
Valuable to Have
- Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools.
- Understanding of SQL basics.
- Exposure to bug tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Azure DevOps.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) is an added advantage.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers with a strong interest in Software Quality Assurance are encouraged to apply.
