Team Manager - Investment Banking Reconciliation

Key Responsibilities
- Lead reconciliation teams across multiple functions including FOBO reconciliation, MF reconciliation, cash, trade, position, and nostro reconciliations.
- Ensure operational excellence, quality, control compliance, and SLA adherence across all reconciliation activities.
- Provide strategic oversight on break management, exception reporting, aged items, and operational risk mitigation.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across front office, operations, finance, technology, risk, audit, custodians, and fund administrators.
- Drive transformation initiatives including automation, process redesign, migrations, and productivity improvement.
- Ensure robust governance and control framework for FOBO and MF reconciliation processes.
- Review team capacity, resourcing,



and productivity metrics to optimize delivery.
- Lead audit responses, control reviews, and remediation planning.
- Develop team leads, managers, and analysts through coaching and performance management.
- Present operational updates, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 8-12+ years of experience in investment banking/financial operations reconciliations.
- Strong expertise in FOBO reconciliation, MF reconciliation, and broader investment banking reconciliation operations.
- Proven leadership in managing teams, stakeholders, controls, and transformation programs.
- Solid governance, audit, risk management, and operational oversight capabilities.
- Excellent communication, people management, and decision-making skills.
