Job Responsibilities

Design and development of Special Purpose Machines (SPM), assembly fixtures, jigs, gauges, and automation systems.

Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings using CAD software.

Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and engineering documentation.

Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and assembly teams for project execution.

Conduct design reviews and implement improvements based on feedback.

Support machine trials, installation, and commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Inventor.

Knowledge of machine design, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing processes.

Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Senior Design Engineer - SPM

Experience

5-8 Years

Job Responsibilities

Lead conceptual and detailed design of SPMs and industrial automation systems.

Develop innovative design solutions to meet customer requirements.

Perform design calculations, component selection, and risk assessment.

Review and approve engineering drawings and documentation.

Mentor junior design engineers and provide technical guidance.

Coordinate with project management, manufacturing, and customers.

Participate in machine validation, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.

Ensure project delivery within timelines and budget.

Required Skills:
Advanced knowledge of machine design and industrial automation.

Solid expertise in CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo/CATIA).

Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, servo systems, and motion control.

Experience in design standards, safety requirements, and DFMEA.
