Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Contemporary Trade Sales professional to manage and grow business with key modern trade retail accounts such as Walmart, Reliance Retail, DMart, Spencer’s, Metro, More, Star Bazaar, Nature’s Basket and other large-format retail chains.

Key Responsibilities1. Modern Trade Account Management
- Manage assigned modern trade accounts and develop strong relationships with key buyers and category managers.
- Handle day-to-day business operations with large retail chains.
- Coordinate with purchase teams, category managers, store teams and internal sales teams.
- Negotiate listings, promotions, visibility, margins and commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Ensure smooth order processing, billing, delivery and payment collection.

Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned accounts.
- Drive sales growth through new product listings, increased distribution and improved product visibility.
- Identify opportunities for expansion across new stores, regions and product categories.
- Prepare and implement account-wise sales plans.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions where required.

3. Promotions & Trade Marketing
- Plan and execute promotional activities, discounts, schemes and consumer offers.
- Coordinate with the marketing/trade marketing team for in-store promotions.
- Ensure proper implementation of displays, gondola visibility, end caps, shelf placement and promotional activities.
- Track promotional effectiveness and ROI.

4. Inventory & Availability
- Monitor stock availability at warehouses and stores.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels and minimize stock-outs.
