Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct individual and group counselling sessions based on student needs.
- Provide guidance and support to students regarding academic, personal, social, and emotional concerns.
- Identify students who require additional counselling, support, or intervention.
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress.
- Support students in developing positive behaviour, communication skills, confidence, and coping strategies.
- Provide academic and career guidance based on students' interests, strengths, and abilities.
- Identify students facing learning, behavioural, emotional, or social challenges and provide appropriate support.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive setting where students feel comfortable sharing their concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school management to address student-related concerns.
- Communicate student concerns and progress appropriately with parents and guardians.
- Conduct awareness sessions and activities on topics such as mental well-being,



study skills, stress management, career planning, and life skills.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a relevant field.
- Relevant certification or qualification in Counselling/Psychology preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in student counselling or a school/educational setting preferred.
- Experience in counselling high school students preferred.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and student well-being.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student matters professionally.
