Electrical Engineer / Electrical Supervisor

Ferozpur Project Site - Water Treatment Plant

Job Purpose

To supervise and execute electrical, instrumentation, automation, testing, and commissioning activities for Water Treatment Plant projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Installation & Supervision
- Supervise erection and installation of LT/MCC/PCC panels, PLC panels, VFD panels, and control panels.
- Monitor cable tray installation, conduit works, cable laying, dressing, and identification.
- Supervise power and control cable termination activities.
- Ensure proper installation of earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Coordinate with mechanical and civil teams for smooth execution of site activities.
- Verify work execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, and project schedules.

Testing & Commissioning
- Carry out pre-commissioning checks and testing of electrical systems.
- Perform insulation resistance (IR), continuity,



earth resistance, and functional tests.
- Assist in energization and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults during testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with vendors and clients during commissioning activities.

Automation & Instrumentation
- Supervise installation and commissioning of PLC, SCADA, and automation systems.
- Ensure proper erection, calibration, and commissioning of field instruments such as:
- Flow Meters
- Level Transmitters
- Pressure Transmitters
- pH Analyzers
- Turbidity Meters
- Chlorine Analyzers
- Motorized Valves and Actuators
- Verify communication networks and integration between PLC, SCADA, and field devices.

Quality Control
- Ensure adherence to approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
- Maintain installation records, test reports, and commissioning documents.
