Preferred Background
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Prior experience working with a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is mandatory.:
- Experience in shipping, offshore, marine, or logistics sectors will be an added advantage.
- Robust knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act compliances.

Key Responsibilities
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
- Prepare accurate accounting reports and financial statements, including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Prepare and record journal entries relating to assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, and general ledger transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and other ledger balances,



resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely completion of financial reporting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
- Prepare and file statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliances, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, statutory auditors, internal auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Maintain proper accounting records, statutory registers, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Review accounting processes, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, internal controls, and financial procedures.
