Eligibility
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy or retail pharmacy.
- Good knowledge of medicine dispensing, inventory management, and pharmacy operations.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy software will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medicines accurately as per doctors' prescriptions.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of medicines in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and report shortages or expired medicines.
- Verify prescriptions and support medication dispensing while ensuring patient safety.
- Maintain accurate records of medicine dispensing,
stock movement, and inventory.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure timely availability of medicines.
- Receive, check, and organize pharmaceutical supplies.
- Follow pharmacy regulations, infection control practices, and hospital policies.
- Provide courteous and professional service to patients while maintaining confidentiality.
