Your role:
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar technologies.
- Integrate security scanning, code quality checks, and compliance automation into build and release workflows.
- Build automation scripts and developer tooling (Python or similar) to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
- Contribute to Code Hub Platform capabilities, including Backstage plugin development, self-service workflows, and AWS-hosted supporting services.
- Assist in deploying and operating platform services using Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud-native tools.
- Improve observability and reliability of automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand developer needs, collect feedback, and co-create solutions.
- Promote clean code practices and craftsmanship principles.
- Support InnerSource contribution models and documentation practices
Minimum required Education & experience:
5- 8 years exp inDevOps & CI/CD Skills with Bachelor's Degree / Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology
Minimum required Experience:
DevOps & CI/CD Skills:
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of GitHub Actions or equivalent systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot pipeline, build, integration, and deployment issues.
- Experience integrating automated quality/security checks.
Software Development Skills:
- Solid foundation in software development with proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#).
- Ability to design and maintain reliable software components or automation tools.
- Interest in developer experience and platform tooling.
Preferred Experience:
Cloud Skills:
- Foundational understanding of AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
- Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred).
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud-native concepts.
