Creative lead. Creative Director/ Head of Strategy

Overview:
The visual quality standard for every single thing inside the company produces. It could be a poster, ad, model face, stall design, brand look, packaging, etc. The person who decides what good looks like across all clients and enforces that standard. Sets the visual direction, mentors the design team, and ensures nothing leaves Blanq looking generic or weak.

What you own:
- Brainstorm creative strategy for seasonal plan, offline events, shoots, social media, launch, packaging or anything that is a service to client
- Art direction across all client brands - sets the visual tone and approves all design before it goes to the client
- Design review - nothing goes to the AD quality gate without your visual approval first
- Brand DNA maintenance - keeps brand guidelines updated and accessible for all clients
- Brief quality control - sit with BM & brief team about visual expectation
- Template creation - builds reusable design systems per client to speed execution without losing quality




- Mentoring the Senior and Junior Designers - weekly feedback, skill development
- Make brand decks, presentation, references doc, playbook, guidelines basically anything and everything that comes under presentation, strategy, creativity

Must-have skills:
- 2+ years design experience at least 1 in an agency or studio environment
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Miro, Mila Note, Notion
- Can communicate idea in head on paper in design form
- Has strategised across formats — social media, brochures, brand identity, website banners, print, packaging
- Robust typographic sensibility — has opinions about type, spacing, and hierarchy
- Has worked on multiple brand identities simultaneously and maintained visual distinction between them
- Has given creative direction to other designers
