RINA is currently recruiting for a India Senior Marine Surveyor to join its office in Mumbai within the Middle East and India Marine Division.

Mission:

Key Accountabilities:
- 1. Professional Specialist:
- Keeps abreast of new developments and recommends changes to surveying processes and safety programs.

2. Inspection and Reporting:
- Conducts routine surveys on classed ships, offshore installations, or marine assets to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
- Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys.

3. Leadership and Coordination:
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates various phases of surveying work.
- Monitors the quality of service, providing guidance to less experienced surveyors.

4. Client Interaction:
- Engages with clients to solve problems within the area of expertise.




- Ensures client satisfaction through effective communication and resolution of issues.

5. Training and Development:
- Provides guidance, and training to less experienced surveyors.
- Contributes to the development and improvement of the skills and knowledge of the surveying team.

8. Ethical Conduct:
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all skilled interactions, ensuring integrity, transparency, and fairness in survey processes.

Education:
- Master’s Degree in Naval EngineeringQualifications:
- In general, minimum 8 years’ experience working as a Surveyor or minimum 11 years’ experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society.
- Understanding of RINA strategic technical positioning in the sector of the marine industry
