HEMS Corporation Services India Limited is seeking a senior Industrial Business Development Advisor on a retainer basis. This is not a permanent sales position. The advisor will work with the promoters to build a disciplined B2B growth process, identify credible industrial opportunities and convert selected opportunities into proposals, partnerships and contracts.
The initial engagement will be for three months. It will combine remote strategic work with planned visits to Korba and meetings at client or partner locations as required.
Scope of work
- Assess HEMS's current capabilities, relationships and service offerings.
- Identify suitable private-sector buyers, plant owners, EPC contractors and channel partners.
- Build a prioritized account and opportunity pipeline with explicit owners, next actions and review dates.
- Develop practical market-entry plans for selected industrial services and low-capital growth opportunities.
- Improve capability presentations, proposals, pricing logic, follow-up and commercial positioning.
- Support senior-level introductions,
client meetings, negotiations and closure.
- Introduce a simple CRM or pipeline discipline and run a focused weekly opportunity review.
- Evaluate tenders selectively while prioritizing commercially viable private-sector opportunities.
- Help management separate genuine opportunities from low-probability leads.
- Transfer methods, contacts and working knowledge to the internal team rather than operating as an isolated consultant.
Expected deliverables during the initial engagement
- A practical 30/60/90-day business development plan.
- A prioritized target-account and partner list.
- An active opportunity pipeline showing value, stage, probability, next action and owner.
- An improved proposal and follow-up process.
- A monthly management review covering wins, losses, blockers and required decisions.
- A mutually agreed number of qualified decision-maker meetings and proposals.
