Job Summary

The Public Relations (PR) Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that enhance the hotel's/resort's brand image, reputation, and market presence. The role involves managing media relations, influencer partnerships, press events, crisis communications, and public-facing campaigns to drive awareness, guest engagement, and business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Relations
- Build and maintain solid relationships with journalists, travel writers, editors, bloggers, and media agencies.
- Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and news announcements.
- Secure positive media coverage across print, digital, television, and social platforms.
- Coordinate media visits, interviews, and press familiarization (FAM) trips.

Brand & Reputation Management
- Protect and enhance the hotel's/resort's public image.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment.
- Manage crisis communication strategies and responses when required.
- Ensure brand messaging remains consistent across all communication channels.





Marketing & Promotional Support
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team on promotional campaigns and property launches.
- Support seasonal offers, events, weddings, conferences, and special packages through PR activities.
- Develop compelling storytelling around the property's unique experiences and services.

Influencer & Partnership Management
- Identify and engage relevant influencers, content creators, travel bloggers, and celebrities.
- Negotiate collaboration agreements and monitor campaign performance.
- Build strategic partnerships with tourism boards, travel agencies, luxury brands, and local organizations.

Event Management
- Plan and execute press conferences, media events, product launches, and community engagement programs.
- Coordinate VIP visits and celebrity stays.
- Represent the hotel/resort at industry events and networking functions.
