A Project Planning Engineer is the strategic mastermind behind project execution. Who must have the knowledge to develop timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure that complex construction or engineering projects are completed on schedule and within budget. they have must manage the master schedule, resource allocation, and tracking of pipeline networks being upgraded or expanded in an industrial facility.

This role ensures that pipeline fabrication, route excavation, mechanical installations and safety system integration are completed on time, within budget and with zero operational disruption to existing live facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Development: Create and maintain detailed baseline project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress to identify bottlenecks and forecast timelines.
- Resource Optimization: Allocate resources efficiently, manage project budgets, and generate cash flow plans.
- Risk Management:



Analyze data to detect potential project delays and develop recovery or mitigation plans.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise between project managers, contractors, vendors, and clients, and prepare progress reports for management.
- Contractual Support: Assist in evaluating Extension of Time (EOT) claims and identifying contractual delays.
- Analytical Thinking:Robust capability in mapping interdependencies between civil excavation, mechanical piping erection, and electrical/instrumentation automated systems.

Core Competencies & Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge:A degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) or Construction Management.
- Software Proficiency:Advanced working knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6 and MS Project) and MS Office Suite
