Job Summary
We are looking for a Pricing Executive with experience in shipping, freight forwarding, CHA or logistics to manage freight rates, prepare quotations, coordinate with vendors and support the Sales & Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare import/export freight quotations and commercial offers.
- Obtain and negotiate rates from Shipping Lines, NVOCCs, Freight Forwarders, CFS/ICD and Transporters.
- Handle pricing for FCL/LCL shipments and related logistics services.
- Calculate ocean freight, THC, CFS, documentation, transportation, customs clearance and other local charges.
- Coordinate with the CHA/Customs Clearance team for applicable charges.
- Maintain and regularly update vendor and customer rate sheets.
- Compare vendor rates and ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
- Follow up with vendors for updated rates and validity.
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations to ensure accurate quotations.
- Maintain records of quotations and pricing data.
- Monitor market freight rates and support management in improving margins.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of Shipping & Freight Forwarding.
- Understanding of CHA and Customs Clearance processes.
- Knowledge of Import & Export documentation.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Positive numerical and analytical ability.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Shipping or a related field.
