Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for FRP, GRP, and Aluminium ladders.

2. Develop fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and production layouts.

3. Create manufacturing drawings based on customer requirements and engineering specifications.

4. Modify existing designs and drawings as per project requirements.

5. Coordinate with production and shop floor teams regarding drawing clarifications.

6. Ensure all drawings comply with quality, safety, and industrial standards.

7. Maintain design records, revisions, and documentation systematically.

8. Support product development and customized ladder design projects.

9. Assist in preparing GA drawings and technical documentation for client approvals.

10. Coordinate with procurement and production teams for material specifications.

11. Participate in design improvement and cost optimization activities.

Required Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.

2. Knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D design software will be preferred.

3. Understanding of fabrication, sheet metal, structural,



and ladder manufacturing drawings.

4. Ability to prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.

5. Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and production standards.

6. Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Strong coordination and communication abilities.

8. Prepared engineering BOM and validat.

Qualification

1. ITI Draftsman / Diploma Mechanical Engineering / BE Mechanical Engineering.

2. Relevant certification in AutoCAD or Design Software will be an added advantage.

Experience

1 to 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, metal works, ladder manufacturing, industrial products, or structural design.

Freshers with strong AutoCAD knowledge and technical drawing skills may also apply.
