Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree may be preferred).
- Qualified engineering license or registration (if applicable in the country).
- Typically 8-15 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or building projects.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in:
- Structural and civil design
- Site development and infrastructure works
- Quantity estimation and BOQ preparation
- Project planning and execution
- Quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC)
- Proficiency in software such as:
- AutoCAD
- Civil 3D
- STAAD.Pro
- ETABS
- Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- MS Office
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise civil engineering activities on projects.
- Review and approve engineering drawings and designs.
- Manage construction schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress and prepare technical reports.
- Resolve technical and construction-related issues.
