The role contributes to product delivery & analytics support for data risk metrics delivery function under firmwide data governance.
As a Data Management Associate at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Data & Analytics team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team of professionals to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to product delivery and analytics support for Firmwide Data Risk Metrics Product.
- Assist Delivery Lead and Product Managers with analytical requests and ad-hoc reporting.
- Ensure procedures align with Firmwide Data Risk Standard and Policy, eliminating operational gaps.
- Conduct deep dive analysis into source data for data risk insights.
- Identify trends and generate ideas for recent policies and best practices through advanced analytics.
- Serve as the main contact for analytics inquiries from stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- 3+ years of MIS delivery experience with exposure to both data transformation and business intelligence
- Proficient in SQL and excellent understanding of advanced database procedural language constructs like stored procedures, functions, parametrized views.
- Very good experience building creative visualizations using market leading business intelligence tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau
- Excellent scripting and data wrangling skills addressing automation use cases employing python or alteryx or any scripting language
- Strong knowledge of database and data warehouse modeling.
- Ability to quickly understand and manipulate unfamiliar data environments and conduct end-user requirements analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with teams, practitioners, and leaders, both internally and externally.
