Hiring: OT Technician

Position: OT Technician
Department: Operation Theatre (OT)
Experience: Minimum 3 Years

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operation Theatre before scheduled surgeries and procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and ready for use.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and OT staff during surgical procedures.
- Handle and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment properly.
- Perform proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and maintenance of instruments as per hospital protocols.
- Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques inside the OT.
- Check OT equipment and ensure it is functioning properly before procedures.
- Maintain proper inventory of surgical consumables, instruments, and other OT supplies.
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation as required during procedures.




- Follow all hospital safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain OT registers, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping, CSSD, and other departments for smooth OT functioning.
- Ensure the OT is properly prepared and maintained before and after every procedure.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an OT Technician.
- OT Technician course/certification or relevant qualification.
- Valuable knowledge of surgical instruments, OT procedures, sterilization, and infection control.
- Ability to work efficiently in emergency and high-pressure situations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
