Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Review journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Handle fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
- Monitor cash flow and support treasury activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls.
- Mentor and supervise junior accountants and accounting staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 5-8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in an NBFC.
- Robust knowledge of RBI guidelines applicable to NBFCs.
- Experience in loan management systems and accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial reporting).
- Knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Experience in audit coordination and statutory compliance.
