Your key responsibilities
- Maintaining overall availability of the trading platform
- Leading a team of 10+ individuals to drive SRE principles, improved reliability of our platforms and TOIL reduction
- Responding to user queries and requests in a timely manner; being a Subject Matter Expert- Ensuring internal postmortems include strategic follow-ups, in a bid to reduce repeat occurrences of issues & incidents




- Identifying and implementing potential automation opportunities such as self-healing scripts to reduce manual tasks, increase efficiency, and improve resiliency
- Conducting Start of Week/Day checks, observing and acting on monitoring alerts, and keeping oversight of high-profile technology processes, particularly those relating to exchange obligations
- Acting as the gatekeeper to production; critically reviewing all changes prior to deployments and conducting post-change validation checks (may include some Out of Hours activities)
- Working closely with Project Managers, Functional Business Analysts, and Developers to introduce new functionality and enhancements to the trading platform
- Setting up new & maintaining existing Monitoring environments; strong focus on observability for early issue detection of latency, capacity, etc
