Position Overview

We are seeking a senior, experienced, and highly capable professional to lead the company's Legal Affairs, Government Relations, Political Liaisoning, Regulatory Approvals, and New Project Development activities.

The person will act as a key interface between the company and government departments, regulatory authorities, statutory bodies, public institutions, and other relevant stakeholders, while also taking overall responsibility for coordinating the company's current projects from the initial planning and approval stage through execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Affairs & Legal Risk Management
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day legal affairs of the company.
- Provide legal advice to the Managing Director, CEO, and senior management on business and project-related matters.
- Review, draft, negotiate,



and finalize contracts, agreements, MOUs, leases, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and law firms.
- Manage litigation, arbitration, legal notices, disputes, claims, and other legal proceedings.
- Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all business activities and projects comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

2. Government Relations & Liaisoning
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant Central Government, State Government, local government departments, regulatory authorities, statutory bodies, and government agencies.
- Coordinate and follow up for government approvals, licenses, registrations, permissions, NOCs, clearances, renewals, and statutory requirements.
