Your Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain batch and online processing programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and release activities.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
Your Profile:
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Micro Focus COBOL development and support.
- Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and batch processing concepts.
- Experience with Micro Focus Enterprise Developer and Enterprise Server.
- Valuable understanding of relational databases such as DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, version control systems, and release management processes.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and Agile delivery methodologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
