Eligibility
- Diploma in X-Ray Technology, Diploma in Radiology & Imaging Technology, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid certification as an X-Ray Technician.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in handling X-Ray equipment in a hospital or diagnostic centre.
- Good knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient positioning.
- Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality X-Ray examinations as prescribed by the referring doctor.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for radiographic procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain X-Ray equipment in accordance with established safety protocols.
- Follow radiation protection guidelines to ensure the safety of patients, attendants, and healthcare staff.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain proper imaging records and documentation.
- Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, and nursing staff for timely diagnostic services.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and assist in routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the X-Ray room and equipment.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control practices, and NABH quality standards.
