Operation Theatre (OT) Nurse - GNM / B.Sc. Nursing

Salary & Benefits
- Freshers: ₹26,000 CTC per month

Eligibility
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Experience: 1-15 years in an Operation Theatre setting.
- Freshers with OT exposure during training are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control, and OT protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, and prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures.
- Scrub and assist surgeons during various surgical procedures.
- Perform the roles of both Scrub Nurse and Circulating Nurse as required.
- Coordinate the availability and secure use of surgical supplies and additional equipment during operations.
- Conduct mandatory pre-operative patient safety checks, including verification of patient identity, informed consent, and operative site.




- Participate in the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist (Time-Out) and ensure accurate documentation.
- Complete mandatory surgical counts before, during, and prior to wound closure.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Provide post-operative nursing care to patients in the recovery room.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.
