Join us as a "Data Analyst" at Barclays, where you will play a key role in supporting HR transformation programmes through high-quality data, strong governance, and actionable insight. In this role, you will help ensure that data is fit for migration, reporting, analysis, and decision-making, while working across business, technology, and third-party teams to improve data quality, controls, and delivery outcomes.

To be successful as a “Data Analyst”, you should have experience with:
Basic / Essential Qualifications:
- Analysis and documentation of business requirements to translate them into data definitions, models and artefacts aligned with organisational goals.
- Development and maintenance of data dictionaries and glossaries to define data elements and their usage.
- Analyse and monitor data usage patterns to identify opportunities for optimisation, standardisation, and improvement.
- Conduct data quality root cause analysis and implement remediation actions to improve both current data acquisition and existing large-volume datasets.
- Supporting data product flows, including sourcing, lineage and control points to help improve data quality and consistency.
Desirable skillsets / good to have:
- Experienced in using AI to improve business processes and support analytics.
- Scripting skills (for example, Python) to support data validation, automation, or analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, HR Technology, business teams, and third-party partners to drive delivery across transformation programmes.
- Implementation of Data Products and enabling the use of data in AI models.
