Role Objective
Key Responsibilities
Behavioral Annotation: Analyze video and sensor data from US roads to label driver intent, pedestrian interactions, and complex maneuvers (e.g., unprotected left turns, merging in heavy traffic).
Regulatory Compliance: Provide leadership and consultation to stakeholders to enhance our workflows and quality by ensuring all labeled data aligns with US State specific and Federal driving regulations (MUTCD standards).
Edge Case Analysis: Evaluate "near miss" or ambiguous scenarios to provide expert judgment on what a "Safe Human Driver" would do.
Quality Assurance: Audit generalist annotations to correct US road priority, signage and unofficial "road etiquette” misconceptions.
Conduct quality checks and provide feedback to enhance model performance..
Operational Integration: Serve as the key link between AI/ML development and operational execution. Define and document new policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that integrate tools and insights into daily vendor workflows.
Required Qualifications
US Driving Experience: Minimum of 5 years of active driving experience within the United States.
Certification: Prior experience as a Certified Driving Instructor, DMV Examiner, or Professional Fleet Trainer is highly preferred.
License: Must possess a valid, current US Driver’s License
Regulatory Mastery: Exhaustive knowledge of US road signs, signals, pavement markings, and right of way rules across various states.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down a split second driving decision into a logical step by step explanation.
