The Asset Servicing team within Trading Operations is responsible for the administration of SLC Management’s global derivatives portfolio across a wide range of institutional clients, including Sun Life’s general account. The portfolio includes cleared and bilateral instruments such as interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, credit derivatives, equity derivatives, futures, options, FX forwards, and total return products.





The Lead Analyst plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operational lifecycle of derivative transactions. The role works closely with front-office trading, portfolio management, treasury, accounting, and external counterparties to ensure accurate, timely, and controlled execution of derivative operations.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Support & Lifecycle Management
- Support end-to-end lifecycle processing of derivative transactions including validation, confirmations, and issue resolution
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of trade capture across systems
- Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies

Reconciliation & Break Resolution
- Perform daily reconciliation of derivative positions and cash activity
- Investigate and resolve breaks across systems, counterparties, and custodians
- Reconcile bank activity to system records

Settlement Oversight & Cash Management
- Oversee settlement of listed and OTC derivative transactions
- Resolve settlement breaks, fail
