Position: Assembly Technician / Machine Assembly Fitter

Location: Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai
Experience: 1-5 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, or Relevant Trade

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assemble Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Fixtures, Jigs, and Automation Equipment as per engineering drawings.
- Interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
- Perform fitting, alignment, drilling, tapping, and mechanical assembly activities.
- Install linear guides, ball screws, pneumatic components, motors, sensors, and machine accessories.
- Conduct machine trials, testing, and troubleshooting during assembly.
- Coordinate with design, production, and electrical teams to ensure smooth machine build.
- Ensure quality standards and assembly accuracy are maintained.
- Attend machine installation and commissioning activities at customer sites when required.




- Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace cleanliness.
- Complete assembly work within project timelines.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Mechanical Assembly and Machine Fitting.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience in SPM Machine Assembly preferred.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of Pneumatics and Mechanical Systems.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Automation Machinery Assembly.
- Knowledge of Pneumatic Circuit Components.
- Willingness to travel for machine installation and service support.
