Job Opening - Quality Control Engineer (Fabrication Industry)
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Review and implement WPS, PQR, and ITP documentation.
- Conduct inspections for raw material, welding (FCAW, GTAW, SAW), and consumables.
- Supervise NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT) and maintain records.
- Ensure material traceability, CAPA, and audit‑ready documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, third‑party inspectors, and vendors for compliance.
- Train shop floor teams on quality standards and fabrication practices.
- Support QA/QC reporting including RT summary, weld plan updates, and shop travel cards.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering.
- 5-8 years of QA/QC experience in fabrication/manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural fabrication, ducting, chimney stacks, tanks, silos.
- Familiarity with ISO audits and compliance systems.
- NDT Level II certification preferred.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
