About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations based on customer requirements, drawings, and specifications.
- Review HVAC project drawings, BOQs, and technical documents to determine project scope.
- Calculate material quantities and estimate labour and project costs.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Purchase, and Project teams to gather technical and commercial information.
- Prepare and submit quotations within the required timelines.
- Revise estimates and quotations based on customer feedback or project modifications.
- Maintain records of quotations, pricing, and estimation documents in Katalyst ERP.
- Follow up with the Sales team regarding quotation status and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and commercial guidelines.
- Support the team in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of HVAC systems, including VRF, DX, Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Ventilation, and Ducting.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and BOQs.
- Strong knowledge of estimation, costing, and commercial calculations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with Katalyst ERP is preferred.
- Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in HVAC estimation, quotation preparation, or commercial support.
- Experience in the HVAC industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
