Position Summary
Ingersoll Rand is seeking a highly driven and technically strong Assistant Manager / Manager - Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) to lead strategic manufacturing transformation initiatives across India Operations. The role will be responsible for driving manufacturing excellence through plant footprint optimization, current product introduction (NPI), productivity enhancement, Industry 4.0 deployment, automation, lean transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.




The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP) performance while supporting the operational requirements of a mixed manufacturing environment involving Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Make-to-Order (MTO), Assemble-to-Order (ATO), and Make-to-Stock (MTS) product families.
The ideal candidate should possess strong project management capabilities, deep lean manufacturing expertise, digital manufacturing knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management skills to collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, and Global Manufacturing teams.

Experience & Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
