Position: Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Distribution & Inverter Duty Transformers

Location: Kherdi, Silvassa or Vadodara
Experience: 3-10 years

Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of Distribution Transformers and Inverter Duty Transformers (IDT) up to 30 MVA.
- Preparation and review of electrical design calculations, core & winding design, insulation coordination, and loss optimization.
- Preparation of BOMs, GA drawings, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, utility, and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with production, testing, quality, and procurement teams for successful project execution.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, routine/type testing, and customer inspections.
- Drive design optimization, value engineering, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support techno-commercial discussions, tenders, and customer technical queries.
- Mentor junior design engineers and lead design reviews.

Requirements:




- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 3-10 years of hands-on experience in transformer electrical design.
- Robust expertise in Distribution Transformers and Inverter Duty Transformers up to 30 MVA.
- Sound knowledge of transformer design calculations, IS/IEC standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and transformer design software.
