Perform inspections and testing by the guidance specified in the relative inspection and test plan (ITP) and appropriate references, such as project specification(s), internal (work) instructions, industry standards, and reporting formats.
- Ensure overall end-to-end compliance with project specification(s) and client requirements.
- Monitor the performance of our painting/blasting personnel to ensure “applicators” carry out their works to the contracted requirements and, where appropriate, the equipment being used is in a serviceable condition.
- Record ambient conditions to ensure they are acceptable for the required process output.
- Ensure surface preparation blast profile/cleanliness meets requirements.
- Monitor dry film thickness and re-coating intervals.
- After the designated curing activity for overcoating or completion,
conduct a visual inspection together with specified non-destructive and/or destructive tests.
- Timely inspection during all aspects of preparation and coating works and proactive in the prevention and resolution of non-compliance issues. Liaise with client representative(s) for inspection and data output.
- Prepare daily reports on an agreed format(s) for the status of work and progress.
- Support internal or third-party audits of the company’s quality control system.
