Candidate’s requirments:
- Well versed with Cable Trays & Electrical Layout and their relevant codes and standards in Plant Engineering. Preferably in Hydro Power Plant Engineering
- Basic and detail design of cable Tray layout of Powerhouse & its various floors, Tunnels, Pothead yard / Switchyard and DG layout. Active participation in basic design and detail design activities.
- Hands on working knowledge in E3D, Revit, ACAD tools and Navisworks
- Should be able to independently co-ordinate the all the stake holders to be perform the piping layout within defined schedule and budgeted manhours.
- Knowledge of multi-disciplinary design workflows and understanding of 3D co-ordination process.
- Functional reporting to your Layout COE leader and operationally to the System Integrator
- EHS: - Implementation EHS policy & procedures during design aspect.
- Should have positive knowledge of equipment Loads/foundation civil requirements, equipment handling requirement.
- Candidate should have minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in Powerplant Layouts.
Preferred Hydro Powerplant.
- Academics: B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering,

Job Responsibilities
Expert on E3D/Revit & AutoCAD software for various type of hydro power plant networks routing (Cable and Cable-tray) modelling.
Generate clash check report & resolve if any interference found using Navisworks.
Responsible for General arrangement drawings, isometrics and BOM for Cable Trays and its supports in E3D/Revit. Generate Powerhouse Overall Equipment Arrangement Layout drawing in Revit.
Expertise in Pothead yard / Switchyard layout detailing.
Knowledge of Cable Sizing, Cable Schedule, Cable filling study & Distribution Board Schedule.
Knowledge of Earthing & Lighting layouts.
Prepare bill of material for various cable trays, cable tray supports & release in PLM tool.
Should review and comment on the customer civil drawings, Equipment GA drawings and other consortium’s network drawings
