Your Role
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Designer for Large Scale Mixed Use (commercial/residential led developments with retail/hospitality).
As a Gensler Senior Designer, you will collaborate with our design team to develop innovative design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You demonstrate creative thinking, and are a recognized contributor to high-profile, design driven projects. What You Will Do
- Ideate in collaboration with the Design Director and the whole team to create innovative designs in response to complex challenges
- Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
- Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
- Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings
- Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts
- Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
- A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Effective communicator, collaborative and team-conscious.
- Provide Mentorship and coaching to grow junior staff members
- Participate in office culture and initiatives
