Medtronic is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Product Security Engineer to join our Affera Mapping and Ablation System team. This role is essential in supporting the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of our advanced medical devices. You will be an integral member of the Affera Software Team, working on cutting-edge technology in the electrophysiology field.
In this role, you will contribute towards triaging all vulnerabilities regardless of severity, across all SBOMs in the tool. Generate SBOM’s as per FDA requirements.
Generate SBOMs that comply with the new FDA requirements, i.e., include adding end-of-support and software level-of-support information for each component. Continuously monitor, review, and triage newly identified vulnerabilities from SBOM monitoring activities. Own and automate the SBOM generation. Analyze identified vulnerabilities and provide patching recommendations and other appropriate remediation actions.
