OpenShift & DevOps Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Engineer to deploy, configure, operate, and support application stacks on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. The role requires strong hands-on experience in containerized application deployment, CI/CD enablement, release automation, troubleshooting, and production support in enterprise environments.
The candidate will work with application, DevOps, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure reliable stack deployment, setting readiness, deployment automation, and operational stability across non-production and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure,



and manage application stacks on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
Support end-to-end containerized application deployment across development, test, staging, and production environments.
Create and maintain deployment manifests, Helm charts, templates, ConfigMaps, Secrets, routes, services, and persistent volume configurations.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools for automated build, deployment, promotion, and rollback.
Coordinate release deployments, environment promotions, application validations, and post-deployment checks.
Troubleshoot deployment failures, pod issues, image pull errors, networking issues, storage issues, pipeline failures, and application runtime errors.
Work with developers and operations teams to onboard applications to OpenShift and improve deployment reliability.
Automate repetitive deployment and operational activities using Shell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
