Job Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications by managing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Windows-based infrastructure. You will work closely with software development and QA teams to streamline release processes, improve deployment reliability, and ensure high system availability across multiple environments.
What You Will Do
Design, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment processes.
Develop, administer, and enhance Jenkins pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Build and package Windows installers (MSI/EXE) using the WiX Toolset, including Bundles and Bootstrappers.
Manage application build, release, and deployment activities across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Configure, administer,
and maintain Windows Servers, including application and database server environments.
Troubleshoot deployment failures, service startup issues, and setting-related problems to ensure application stability and availability.
Utilize Git for source code management and develop PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
Collaborate with Software Development and Quality Assurance teams to resolve application, infrastructure, deployment, and database-related issues.
Continuously improve deployment processes by identifying automation opportunities and implementing DevOps best practices.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering, or Deployment Engineering.
