What success looks like in this role:
The CIT Platform Engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and operating enterprise software delivery platforms that enable Unisys engineering teams to develop, secure, test, and release software efficiently and consistently. Our mission is to provide secure, scalable, and reusable engineering platforms that accelerate software delivery while reducing operational complexity and improving developer experience.
As an Engineer - Platform Engineering, you will contribute to the design, implementation, automation, and operation of our DevSecOps ecosystem, including cloud and on-premises platforms. You will work closely with software engineering teams, security partners, architects, and platform specialists to deliver secure-by-default, self-service, and highly reliable engineering capabilities.
This role offers exposure to Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, Developer Experience, AI-assisted development, and software supply chain security.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering & Operations - Design, implement, support,
and continuously improve enterprise engineering platforms and services.
Automation & Developer Productivity - Enable self-service capabilities that simplify software delivery processes for engineering teams.
DevSecOps & Security - Embed security controls into developer workflows and release pipelines.
Cloud & Infrastructure - Assist with container platforms, Kubernetes, and platform modernization initiatives.
