As a Material Controller, your primary tasks are: Material controller/planner

Supplier Coordination

Daily monitor the deliveries from suppliers according to the call off and act on deviations
Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, order confirmations, and discrepancies.
Track inbound shipments and update delivery status in the system.
Assist in resolving delivery and quality issues with suppliers.
Monitor daily MRP Alarms (missing ASN) and take necessary actions
Monitor in-transit ASN’s, call off/ IDOC’s report in SAP system
Update MRP parameters in SAP time to time as and when recent parts and new suppliers are introduced
Manage deviations swiftly and take decisions in the most cost-efficient way in order to minimize risks of disturbances
Communicate to supplier on low SDP supplier and follow-up for action plan with Purchasing Team
