Job Purpose
The Cash Application & Collections Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely application of customer payments, maintaining cash application records, and resolving payment allocation issues. The role also involves analysing customer accounts, collecting outstanding balances, and working with customers to resolve payment queries and overdue debt.
The position will initially report to the Cash Manager and will transition to reporting to the Collections Team Manager.

Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Match incoming payments to the relevant remittance advice and investigate any discrepancies or unidentified cash receipts.
Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure payments are allocated accurately.
Investigate and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, deductions, and disputed invoices.
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure the timely collection of outstanding balances.
Contact customers via email to recover overdue payments and negotiate payment plans
