The Large Power Systems Division currently has an opening for a Senior Associate Engineer in the Core Packaging Mechanical Systems. This role will be located in our Bangalore, India Office. As a Senior Associate Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain components for Caterpillar’s next generation of LPSD Gensets. You will establish strong ties with Genset platform teams while driving strong interaction with all our process partners in Operations, Purchasing and Supply Chain.




The Packaging team is a cross-platform engineering group that manages products for multiple platforms and market segments. As a Senior Associate Engineer in the Large Power Systems Division, you will participate in developing innovative solutions for programs technical requirements/specifications, often complex problems faced by the packaging team based on platform (C15 – C175) and market segment (Electric Power, Oil & Gas, Marine) applications. Teams will consist of both internal and external partners, and you will be responsible for ensuring the proper design, integration, application, and ready for market requirements are met for the packaged generator set in each situation. You will manage the planning and execution of projects, continually learn, and stay abreast of innovative technology, help coach team members, and broaden your skilled network.
