Summary: The Software Engineer designs, develops, writes, modifies and implements software solutions consisting of applications and/or components. Maintains accurate documentation of solutions provided.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES





Develop and/or provide software solutions to the business in accordance with established specifications, and considerate of IT priorities, follow a process similar to the following;

Participate in requirements gathering
Analyze technical requirements and help determine feasibility
Work with Business Analysts, Project managers, Stakeholders, and other team members to design and recommend solutions
Follow work instructions, procedures and established standards in coding and delivering the identified solution on time and on budget
Document and test the delivered solution, and assist with end user training as required
Maintain the delivered solution per business requirements

Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
Provide hardware and/or software assistance
