A Day in the Life
Lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise monitoring and observability solutions for digital manufacturing systems. Design logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting capabilities that enhance system reliability, operational visibility, and uptime across manufacturing sites and distribution centers. Partner with DevOps, engineering, and operations teams to embed observability into deployment pipelines and establish consistent monitoring standards. Use telemetry and performance analytics to proactively detect issues, optimize system performance, support capacity planning,



and drive continuous improvement across OT/IT environments.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of Digital Transformation Monitoring—including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting—to improve reliability, uptime, and operational visibility.
Provide proactive detection of performance degradation, failures, and anomalies across applications, data pipelines, and OT/IT interfaces.
Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and operations teams to embed observability requirements into deployment pipelines.
Develop and maintain monitoring governance standards to ensure consistency across mfg. sites and DC’s.
Provide continuous improvement recommendations based on trend analysis, telemetry insights, and performance data, supporting capacity planning, stability initiatives, and optimization of digital manufacturing
