What you will do
Oversee the technology team, interview and select people, motivate and inspire the team and drive retention and employee engagement.
Provide software engineers constant feedback and prepare individual development plans to have team members prepared for succession or to occupy new seniority positions.
Ensure the quality of deliveries, prioritize initiatives oriented to metrics (eg reliability, code smells, technical debts, bugs), define quality strategy and quality techniques/frameworks (eg BDD, TDD, FDD , test automation), oversee the processes and controls of delivery flow at different discovery, development, testing, approval and implementation phases and ensure stability, performance and maintenance of organizational systems.
Ensure the efficiency of the teams through the use of metrics (availability, cloud cost, throughput, lead time, blockages),
ensuring the balance of indicators according to the defined goals and raising the need for additional resources as needed.
Facilitate integration between product teams and other areas of the company focused on the client by defining responsibilities and agreements, and systematically optimizing workflow and communication.
What experience you need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 7–10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1+ years in a people management/supervisory role overseeing engineering squads.
Proven experience leading the design and development of scalable solutions using Event-Driven architecture and RESTful APIs.
Strong experience with public cloud platforms—GCP or AWS preferred—alongside a solid understanding of CI/CD practices.
Experience collaborating with SRE teams to establish operational metrics (SLAs, SLOs, SLIs).
